Over the past four years, I’ve released two feature‑length documentaries as Director, Cinematographer and Film Editor:

  • So‑Called” (2022, 72 minutes)

BIO shortly

Albert Vedeneev studied at the Leningrad Institute of Cinematographic Engineering (now St. Petersburg State Institute of Film and Television). A cinematographer, director, and photographer, he wrote and directed the feature film «Objective Suicide» and served as director of photography for «Fluff», «Retro», «Celestial Empire», among others. He also directed «Trivial Questions» (2025), «The So Called» (IMDB, Kinopoisk, 2022, 8.4 rating), a documentary about multiple sclerosis.

As a photographer, his work has been published in various magazines. He contributed to the photo book Petersburg Unrecognizable in the Watercolors of F. Bagantz and participated in numerous exhibitions, including the 2004 St. Petersburg photography exhibition Dedication, which featured works by Dmitry Konradt, Evgeny Mokhorev, Sergey Chabutkin, Viktor Antoshchenkov, and others.
